Simple Turkey Meatballs

If you need a quick meal idea-these turkey meatballs are it! Ready in 30 minutes (or less) these are perfect when you're in a time crunch or just don't want to spend all night in the kitchen. Gluten free, paleo, anti-inflammatory and reflux friendly if you omit garlic and onions. These have great flavor and are soft and tender! Use for pastas, subs, salads, party appetizers and more!

1 lb organic ground turkey 93% lean
1 egg (flax egg works)
1 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbs tamari or coconut aminos
1 minced garlic clove (optional)
2 Tbs diced onion (optional)
1/4 cup blanched almond flour
1/2 Tbs nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp pink salt
Pinch of black pepper
1/8 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp oregano
1/2 stem of thyme
1 Tbs minced basil
Preheat oven to 375. Mix all ingredients together until just combined in large bowl. I like to use my hand mixer. Using 1.5 Tbs cookie scoop drop meatballs onto parchment lined baking sheet.
