These party nuts are addictive!! I'm hosting a football this party weekend and these are on the menu! Perfectly roasted and infused with sweet and savory flavors. You can use any combo of nuts you like make sure they’re raw, unsalted and without added oils.
2 cups choice of almonds, pecans, walnuts, hazelnuts
3/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1 Tbs real butter (I love Irish Kerrygold) or unrefined coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbs pure maple syrup
3/4 tsp pink salt
1/2 tsp pure vanilla
1 Tbs fresh chopped rosemary (optional)
1/8 tsp cayenne (if tolerate spicy)
Preheat oven to 325. Place nuts and seeds in large mixing bowl. Whisk butter, syrup, vanilla and salt and pour over nuts, stirring to coat evenly. Spread nuts onto parchment lined baking sheet into an even layer. Place in oven and stir after 10 minutes then stir every 5 minutes up to 25 minutes. (Mine were perfect in 23 minutes). Little to no syrup should remain and mixture should be deeply golden. Remove from oven, stir one more time. Let cool completely on pan, stores up to 2 months.
