Pan-seared Tilapia

A tasty favorite that is simple and quick! Tilapia is one of my favorites! A white, light and flaky fish. Mild in flavor and easy on digestion. Gerd friendly seasonings, cumin and paprika season this fish perfectly!
Serves 4
4 Tilapia filets 1/2 Tbs extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil 1/4 tsp cumin 1/4 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp pink or sea salt
Rinse fish in cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
Combine cumin, paprika and salt and lightly season fish.
Add oil to non stick pan over medium heat. Add tilapia and pan sear until temp reaches 145 (about 2-3 minutes each side).
Serve over brown rice and with your favorite vegetables (steamed squash and broccoli pictured).
Notes: Ghee may be used, as it's free of lactose and may be well tolerated.
