No Egg-Egg Nog!

I must admit I do not have fond memories of egg nog growing up but it is a time-honored holiday tradition and I have to believe that somehow I've got it all wrong when it comes to the nog! I have tried it with egg whites before I developed an intolerance to them and it was ok, a little thick and let's be real-texture can be everything lol This time I made without eggs, using rich and creamy non dairy milk and warm spices and guess what?! It's lovely! Velvety smooth, naturally sweetened and all plant based! If you've been known to avoid egg nog, I think you should give this one a try!

Serves 2

1 1/2 cup almond milk (Malk brand)

1/2 cup full fat coconut milk

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

Pinch of cloves

Pinch of sea salt

1-2 Tbs pure maple syrup

1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract

1/4 tsp pure maple extract

Mix all ingredients in blender until well combined and pour over ice. Sprinkle with a little nutmeg. Enjoy!
