Matcha Energy Balls
Need a little pick me up?! These energy balls are filled with wholesome ingredients and matcha! I continue to be fascinated with matcha green tea. It has L-theanine for focus and slow release caffeine, preventing crashes and jitters. The benefits in matcha are undeniable and often more tolerable for those that are sensitive to caffeine.
2 tsp ceremonial grade matcha tea
1/2 cup raw hazelnuts
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
10 pitted dates
2 Tbs creamy all natural almond butter
1/2 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
Place all ingredients in food processor and blend until combined. Using 1.5 Tbs cookie scoop, roll into balls.
Refrigerate in sealed container.
