Flourless Chocolate Torte

These sweet little confections are wholesome and healthy! No sugar, no flour and vegan! Make with as little as 3 ingredients for a simple treat! Psst!!! It turns out 3 ingredient brownies are a THING!! Of course, I had to investigate! I put my own spin on them! When I tasted them the texture was more like a flourless cake much like a beloved dessert we order at our favorite restaurant! I know these are healthier than that decadent slice and I'm not mad about it because they taste great! You're welcome to add in some extras such as maple syrup or vanilla (I did as I had it on hand) oooh cinnamon would be NICE! Chopped nuts or dark chocolate chips are optional!

Makes 6

2 large ripe bananas

1/3 cup creamy all natural almond butter

1/3 cup cocoa powder

1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract (optional)

1 Tbs pure maple syrup (optional)

Pinch pink salt (optional especially if nut butter is unsalted)

Preheat oven to 350. In processor (you guessed it, I used my mini!) add all ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour into silicone muffins cups (no greasing required) and bake for 25 minutes. Edges will be set and cakes in dome like shapes. Let cool completely before removing from pan. Watch the reel here

If using non silicone muffin cups, lightly grease with healthy oil such as extra virgin olive oil or pure avocado oil. You could also line with parchment paper.

Substitutions that can be made for nut allergies or intolerances would be tahini or sunbutter. Also, carob powder in place of cocoa powder for a chocolate replacement.

Seal in air tight container and store in refrigerator.
